Google is putting up different doodles on its home page to celebrate the 76th birth anniversary of Charles Roger Hargreaves. Roger Hargreaves was an English author and illustrator. He is best known for his series of Mr Men and Little Miss books for children.

Google is now testing new search results page, however, the new look is somewhat ugly.

Over the years, as Google adds more and more information to the search results, the search results page has been increasingly crowed. Google is trying to clean up the search results this time. However, the new design of search results page is somewhat ugly. The layout is too sparse, and the color is too light.

The most puzzling is that the amount of information in single-screen of the new version of search results page is significantly reduced. Visitors need to scroll to find more information they wanted.
